I use to live in Pennsylvania... long time ago, and I do not miss the rust. Can't imagine running my P cars on slushy salty roads.

Hey MPDano,

Anyone looking at 928 exhaust systems should check out Louis Ott Engineering.
www.performance928.com. I think he has done the most work and research on
32V engines, but his X pipe and other design recommendations are the best.

82 928S Euro

82 928S Euro. Notice the non-euro rear side markers - thinking about shaving those off.

Cool, you did make it to Buttonwillow. So how was it? How did you do? Was the SC guy there?

Not to hijack, but yes made it and had a blast. Les was there and gave me a ride in his car towards the end of the day, quite a bit more pull than mine and the R compound tires and GTS suspension and brakes make a huge difference. Links to more photos and video on the socal site.

yep, but what I was specifically noticing is that the bumper cover doesn't have cutouts (just above the brake cooling scoops).

This bumper cover would be for a no front spoiler/no brake cooling duct (non-S model) car, so I was wondering what's the story.....? I thought Wiessach's were "S" cars.....

Perhaps it's not the original bumper cover? Or did the factory do this?

I'm puzzled.....

I'm not sure. Officially S cars came out in 83. It does not have an S motor. The competion package cars in 80-81 had spoilers too, I wonder what bumper covers they use? We could use some conformation on this for sure Maybe Porsche was just using up the old parts.
