'79 - name some more components

Can someone tell me what the bottom switch is supposed to do? I think it is supposed to be for rear fog lights???

This switch was located toward the front of the hood. There is no wire attached tot he top and the wire going enderneatht the switch is not connected (broke off). What is this switch supposed to do?

I found this cable laying the spare tire compartment. It doesn't go anywhere and there is nothing to hook to it. Anyone have any ideas? It looks like the wires might be for a stereo component. The connector to the top of the picture is the one for the speedo???

Thanks

pic #1---rear fog light switch for Euro/ROW (lower left instrument pod)

pic #2---I would guess thi switch for the underhood light (perhaps someone else may know better?)

pic #3--- cables are probably PO installed stereo stuff. connector/wiring in upper right corner of the spare tire area is for speedo sensor.

#2 at least as I have seen it doesn't have a switch, something added with an alarm system is my guess.

#3 gotta be previous owner added stuff.

For the rear fog lights, which lights are supposed to go on with this? Was there a separate set of lights or does it activate the lights already in the rear block of lights. When I activate it nothing happens.

The switch operates the rear fog light ONLY. The rear fog only comes on if the headlights are up and on.

The rear fog light is the square light to the left of the license plate. Some cars have two.

Switch for hood - I think this might be for the light. There is a light socket hanging from the hood. I put a bulb in it and nothing happened. Didn't bother to trace the lines. I'll check it out later.

Fog lights - button on pod lights up when pushed, but wondering if the bumper is not the original. No fog light on the back and a few spliced/cut wires hanging down. One of the bumper struts is welded and the other one looks like it was pushed in and then pulled back out. Maybe a light hit. Nothing else looks damaged.

I like the fog light - where can I get one (or two)??

all early bumper covers have the place for the rear fog light---you will see an outline on the backside of the cover where it may be cut out for fog light installation.

the light assembly may be available from 928 Int'l.

Posting a follow up to this now that I know what the item in the second photo of my original post. It is a hood switch for the alarm system.
