how to remove plug from air flow sensor

this sounds dumg but i want to pull out the air cleaner assembly, how do you remove the plug from the air flow sensor, dont want to force it, looks like its held in by wire clips, do i pry those back

Use a pick or a small flat head screw driver to push the two open ends of the wire clip apart, then pull the plug out.
