993 varioram intake, what controls are needed?

On the varioram intake, what are the moving parts and what controls are needed to make it work?

one throttle flap at the intake in back, mechanically controlled

there is one vacuum controlled slide per bank actuated by solenoids controlled by the DME, the slides are in long config(475mm intake length) from 0 - 4840 and move to short config(240mm long intake) @4840 & >50* throttle angle

one tuning(aka resonance) flap near the front, vacuum operated via solenoid actuated by DME signal @5840 & >50* throttle angle this is opened then closed @ 6640

Ok, so if I have an intake that is complete, I need two control outputs from motor controller;
1 to control two solenoids for the intake runner length, and
1 to control the resonance flap

What are the thoughts on use of these in a race motor that will very seldom be below 5k rpm and 50% throttle angle? ...3.8L

For just 5-7k use, the old plastic manifold from a '94 or 95 is probably better

the older non vam intake also has a resonance flap
open from 0-3500 and from 5520-6640
closed from 3500-5520 & throtle >60*

ther resonance flap is actuated through pin1

but for your purpose just leave it open
