964 3.6 A/C & engine bracket delete?

I have seen that many just cut their A/C bracket & put it back on and also use the original engine bracket as well. Why? Easy fix?
Must i use these or can i make my own & just use the original mounting points?

Dropping a 3.6 in to a 911 from -71 will probably not allow the use of these brackets anyway. I haven't come so far just yet. But even if it will fit the plan is to make a custom bracket & delete the two original ones.

Any thoughts from the more experienced crowd

The engine carrier will need to be slightly modified and it's best to reinforce the welds while it's in you hands

you can use the oe RS engine console to eliminate the AC mount, these were unavailable for a long time but I believe that they can be purchased from Porsche again

or you can cut the AC mount off, 2 ways to do it keep the upper bolt or not

oe RS console

oe RS console w/ oe RS lower single sheeve pully

different motor same parts

cut console retaining the upper bolt, stock 3 sheeve lower pulley, RS upper pulley

Why go through all that hassle?

Just use the console and mount from your year. It bolts right in. Here is the 95 3.6 in my 74 911. Easy.
