3.6 conversion, lots unused wires?
Hello,
on my 88 Carrera the non Vram 3.6 conversion was done from PO. In the left engine bay I found lots of unused connectors, looks more like a half engine harness. Honestly the car has no problems, but I don't like having a half engine harness unused in my engine bay. Is that the "normal" situation on a 3.6 conversion. Maybe they used a Vram harness with few more plugs? ![]() Thanks Falk

What Bill said. My '95 with the updated wiring harness has a few unused connectors on the left side. They're just sort of tied up and tucked aside although they're hidden around the underside on the heater ducting, out of site.

Yep. I was concerned as well and asked Instant-G about it probably 3 or 4 times.

Does anybody know who is selling 3.6 conversion parts i.e early chassis and engine wire harness other than Patrick Motorsports ?
Also any shops in NV or Southern CA that would do a conversion without reaping you off ? Thanks for your help ! |
