Thanks, I put 10 miles on it last night without any problems.
It's so low I had to make a skid plate covering the trans-axle and the oil pan. with the 295's on the back I can definitely feel more of the hp pushing forward and less turning into smoke.

couple of pictures from a cruise night. I got there early so I didn't have to drive in rush hour.

Now in 993 land ...

Looks really over the top - awesome. Take some video for us. Maybe time to do an AutoCross!
![]() I think you should lose the wing - get a regular lid and give it a try. G |

it was the Niagara Region Porsche Club of America's 50th this weekend. Had a party at a winery and some laps at the Glen.

Hi,
Great work, you looked comfortable on the track, are you happy with the handling of the car, or you are going to make changes? tell us about your car's handling characteristics. How is the running temperature? Many Thanks. |

The car handles as I expected. tight and planted. I am going to brace up the front more and throw coilovers in. The 285's upfront with 295 rears seems to be just the right amount of pounds per square inch to hold on the track. Any wider and I believe they would displace too much weight to effectively uses the contact area to translate to traction. Similar to a snowshoe. But that's just my beliefs based off my experience.
If you have any input please feel free to share.

Any of you thinking about an LS conversion, I've got a parts deal. I've got a 5-speed 965 G50/52 and LSD with new Kennedy LS to G50/52 conversion plate, new Sachs clutch kit and new Kennedy LS to G50/52 conversion flywheel for sale. The Turbo transmission is supposed good for up to 700HP. I'm asking $8,000 for the package.
FS: 965 Turbo 5 speed:G50/52 w/ LSD, LS conversion plate, flywheel, SACHS clutch kit I could split up the kit, but the adaptors should go together, I'd think. Of course, I'm expecting to discount over retail prices.

thought I would share a video from a Poker run through the Finger Lakes wineries with Vipers, Corvettes, Cobras, Lotus, etc... Cop spotted at minute ~2:05 and a few pulled over at ~3 min. good times. We ended up a a hotel that blocks out the front row for us and sets up a party in the lot so we can drink the wine we picked up that day.
And a local photographer took a few pictures and now wants to set up a shoot. links below: The Rebel | Flickr - Photo Sharing! The Rebel | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

sure
I ducked the front for added cooling and down force. It defuses over the sides vs increasing the low pressure on the rear. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There were 3 Vipers there. two out of three I know I could take (2002 GTS and 1996 GTS) the third I did not have the opportunity to run (2006). He had a wedding to get to.
