Personally I’m in an age bracket that appreciates a properly set up power steering. The level of involvement you’re willing to give up is often dictated by what you have been exposed to growing up.

My personal curve places the peak of the performance and driver involvement around 2010. Cars introduced after that take away some of that driver input/feedback in favor of electronics that can function faster than our brains.

It’s an interesting topic, not sure how it relates to the SC market though.
I'm looking at an 80' SC targa in dismantled bits for a price. Whether I get or not really doesn't matter to me. If it is cheap enough I'll grab it. Why? My first 911 71 E targa euro at age 21 was so exhilarating on experience first 911 experience that I'll never forget it!

Beyond the air cooled era I have no interest and never pay attention. I have no working knowledge beyond 993. That is just me, and chalk it up to my age and my experience. I wouldn't mind doing a simple and cheaper SC targa since I've had just about every other. Have never done up an SC, so I'd need some help from those in the know on Pelican.

I donno! It could be that SC's are that old or rare that not many have one or could comment. Maybe they aren't that popular on the market....yet. Someday honey! Just waiting out myself...

Maybe no one is paying attention except those of us with SC's. 5% drop indeed!

Or, a rising SC tide floats all SC boats?

Or not. It’s a split market, with nice cars holding or rising, and ok and poor cars falling.
