driver side heated seat problem

My 89 turbo has just developed a speedo glitch when I stick the throttle. The speedo climbs to about 40mph then dies for a split second. It then registers correctly. What and where do I check for...

The upper balance housing wasn't removed but We will check seal. The mechanic said he took 6 "runs" with the car and it ran like a bat out of HE-double toothpicks then no boost.

found the problem!

Got a bad steering rack that is leaking. It leaked fluid from the power steering resevoir. The best price I found so far is $599.00 from vetex.SmileWavy
