Yeaah aren't we all guilty of being a bit anal with the q-tips
![]() Quote:
But why is it important to keep 930 value discussions out of the 930 section? There is a lot of new interest in these cars at the moment. Obviosly most of the attention is due to the quite dramatic changes in the market. I'm just saying that the way the world is moving, it is not an indisputable law of nature that the "911 / 930 Turbo & Super Charging Forum" will always remain exclusively dedicated to technical- and performance related issues. That said, it is not exactly difficult to find technical material or to start technical discussion on this part of the forum..........so where is the harm? Does it have to be either or? A lot of people find it interesting to discuss both technical-, performance-, historical- as well as market aspects of the 930. Happy New Year to You all by the way ![]() ![]()

THis forum is titled to make us think it's for discussing turbocharging and supercharging the motors.

My apologies to Ronnie. The lone q-tipper in the crowd, who is accepted due to the mature content he provides, And, lets not forget his tireless effort to keep all 930s in the neutered bone stock condition they deserve. Thank you sir, you're a true hero. Hope to see you at Pebble beach.

Mr. 70'sBush, is that the place where they hold the world famous, drag queen parade each year?!?!
![]() ![]() And I truly appreciate your recognition of both my conversative maturity and my mission to disrespect the spirit and intent of these fine machines! Just like the original designers and builders were surely thinking when they were de-tuning them and piling on all the gear to limit exhaust and noise emissions (at the expense of performance, buttofcourse, butt who cares anyway!?), KEEP THEM STOCK, ya' beyoches!!!!! ![]() |

Seems as though this thread took 1 year vacation.
How is the 930 (or other air cooled Porsche) market these days? |

Did haggerty value go up again?

A nice 930 still and always will have no problem bringing $100,000 + Not so nice 930s are priced accordingly. That said we are probable in a flat spot for the coming years. But after 300% gains it had too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^^^ That is about as useful as "What's my house worth?"
If I sell it I have cash and no 930. If I borrow against it I have debt & interest payments and go back to working for the banks.

Why sooo negative? some of us are interested in the cash value of our stuff.
Information, not sure how that is a bad thing. Simple, if uninterested, skip to another thread |

Here's my thoughts, I honestly thought SpeednMe aka Rey's car was gonna exceed 100K. That being said, if you want to sell a 930 in "A" condition for top dollar advertise on European especially German for sale websites. They want them back & will pay more than us here.

I think the best valuation you can get is tracking the classifieds on our host site. Definitely lower than Haggerty.
What really gets me is the 491's selling (or at least advertising) for roughly same amount. I guess some people prefer fake breasts over the real thing.
