You got it Skippy!
![]() In fact it's a 125, but it's practically indistinguishable from the 200. It's your turn now...

Think I found it (it's raining today, watching the Cubs and getting ready for an afternoon snooze).
It appears to be a Van Veen OCR 76-78 Write up below is from website http://www.monito.com/wankel/motorcycles.html "Dutch importer Henk van Veen grafted a Comotor (NSU and Citroen joint venture) KKM to a Moto Guzi frame [sources conflict: there may have been some versions with a Mazda motor]. Announced in 1976 it was produced until 1978. Dry weight 642 lb (291 kg). Top speed 130 mph. Price £5000. 996 cc, 4 speed gearbox, electric starter, disc brakes front and rear."

It is a special. That much is clear. But there are only two singles I know of that have a massive pushrod/king cam tube like that: The Norton Manx and the Norton International, which was really the road going version of the Manx. However, the stroke seems even LONGER on this machine. The massive square head is positively wierd.
Is any of this close?

Well ,some pre-war NSUs also had that same fat tube. Of course the chief NSU designer used to work for Norton. There was a joke that NSU stood for Norton Spares Used.
Is this an NSU ..maybe an NSU OSL 501 or NSU Supersport?

Pretty much. It's an NSU Bison 2000 special. A 2 litre single! Pretty wild.
