We were going to try and make it but we have other plans for that weekend and I also have a track day at VIR on Monday the 5th of May on my GSXR 600. We are going to be going to the BMW rally at Cass, WV over Memorial Day weekend. Will try and make it to the Boone rally, also. The MVs are a lot of fun to ride. It is the most fun bike I have ever owned in 30 years of riding high performance bikes.

The pinstripes look great but the exhaust was nicer where it was. Still a cool looking bike though.

What do you have there Paul, a custom bike? Looks like a bit of S and R! I like it! I always wondered what pinstripes would look like on the new black bikes, it looks cool, but I might have added a bit more on the tank section. Coolness! you have created a superbike version of the S with old school charm! more pics!!

Wow Paul, that black with pinstripes, excellent idea. Captures that classic styling. I'm not too fond of the exhaust setup, but i have to admit it's original.

Some more photos. I was after the old pinstripe look. The exhaust is'nt for everyone, but it sure does let the motor rev up easier. Next is a Rapid Bike controller.

Pinstriping Tradition...

PinStripes come and go...but always make a come back...nice job!

The original owner of my R1100S had this pin striping done...I've considered rubbing it out from time to time but I think it has grown on me over the years.
