Kieran-

The white and silver looks very good on the R1100S. I never would have thought of those colors. It looks so clean.

Agreed. Now, being a pig-pen kinda guy, I've personally sworn off white wheels. But I like what some of you cleaner folks do with them. That looks great!

Here's my scoot!

Hey all! New to this site, got my BCR in June, I'm the 3rd owner, it's a 2004 #282 of 300. I'm about to buy a Sargent saddle for it for those long rides!

I liked the looks of the white wheels on my Yamaha. I will most likely do the r11s wheels in powder coat white one of these days.

Your absolutely right though (daily cleaning required)

My 04 R1100s in its element

I've had my R1100s since May and recently return from a long weekend in the Ozarks. Here is the bike in the environment it was made for!

Duder --
is it weird going from the Telelever front end on one bike, to really pushing a standard front end on the Yammay? (a sweet one it is!)

I've been thinking about getting a a barely street legal track bike to trash around on, and wondering about going back n forth between the 2 dissimilar bikes ...

TIA,
jv

Having jumped over to the dark side last January with the acquisition of my first beemer, the R11S, I've limited most of my changes to ergo's with a Rick Mayer saddle, heavy bar-ends (TM) & a Cee Bailey windscreen.

There have also been some aesthetic tweaks to clean up a few things that just didn't look quite right, e.g., black plastic rear hugger vs. Ilmberger carbon, all-carbon front fender vs. 50/50 funky carbon/black plastic OEM model, and removing a few extraneous badges and the black knee grippers from the tupperware.

Now that I'm smitten with the darned thing (who'd a thunk it), I've turned my attention to the business-end of the machine and, first things first, shocks:

T-Geek, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner, dude. Get ready for a whole new world of riding pleasure.

duder, where do you live and what are the last three VIN#'s on the HPS. I see it apppears to be non-ABS.
