'97 Boxster O2 connector access..?

Greetings,
How do I access the rear (Cat) O2 wiring connector? Ive read posts and watched Youtube etc. vids but nowhere do I see info on what to do with the wire that runs up and behind the aluminum heat shield. I see a small 8mm nut in that area and am hoping removing that will give access to the connector. Is it that simple or do I have to remove more or do something different?

https://sites.google.com/site/mikefocke2/oxygensensors see the picture with the screwdriver inserted.

If you are removing the sensor from the exhaust, then see the picture of a special wrench.

Any muffler shop can handle the removal, no need for P-car prices.
