Yes, so sorry I didn't explain. I'd use west system epoxy mixed with micro and milled fibers to fill the void. Then I'd laminate one layer of light glass 1-2 oz then sand, then prime and paint.

The door hinges on the javelin need to be re bushed. Got the doors off today, blasted and epoxied the hinges. Also finished the ww2 insignia.

It looks like you're building a giant AirFix model. Beautiful color. It's hard to tell, are the invasion stripes black and white or blue and white? Either or, they look great!

Funny, it's an rv4 so it is small. The invasion stripes are black and white... they've been wet sanded to prep for clear.

When my dad was alive and living in the airpark (Sunrise Skypark Airport (ID40)) two of his neighbors were building rv4's. I was lucky enough to get a ride in one - what a nice little airplane; lots of performance, and that big open cockpit made it feel like we were in a fighter plane.

Thanks for bringing us along on the build. (As always!) I should have said bubble canopy, not open cockpit.

My pleasure Herr O. Today I had one of my grandsons helping... I steal him away as often as possible. My brother and I bought a pile of old 4' deep pallet racking this week. It was hideous... rust on the ends scratches etc... blasted what needed blasting then etching primer over the blasted bare spots then black summit epoxy. The shocker was we actually got the final top coat on today... a can of mtk mismatch I got from the auto body supply place. Even more amazing is we got to do it all outside in t shirts.... 60 degrees in northern Ut! I'm extremely stoked about how we'll be using them! Stay tuned.

I sold turf and ornamental care products for 10 years and we used pallet racks in our drive through warehouse stores......I'm very familiar with their assembly and disassembly! You can't see them in these photos but they occupied half my store.......

Spent Saturday getting the 330 ready for the track in two weeks. Bled the brakes, rotated the tires, topped off the oil, and notched the front strut towers to get more negative camber. I’m going to swing by Morehead Speed Works in Columbia Friday 3/8 on the way to CMP for an alignment.

Thanks, Guy! Not my company.....but I got in at the right time in 1990. And my store was in Ft Myers.....more golf courses per capita than anywhere in the world. It was a lucrative market! I was the manager at that location with just one other employee...my assistant manager. Over the next 10 years I learned a LOT about selling and managing! Worked my butt off too! ![]() Quote:

Gave the little Super Snark it's first bath today and it cleaned up pretty good. There are only two or three spots where I will need to fill and other than some scuffs, she's pretty good to go. I also have the sail soaking in some Dawn dish detergent and going to give it a good scrubbing, rinse and repeat until it is clean.

I think I shall name the little boat "Hundo" because I only paid 100 bucks for it. Lol. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

I get that way myself from time to time. When I start running around and around Vicki hands me a glass of wine and sends me to the hot tub. This may be one of those days.

So far today I've: ![]() Put a second coat of shellac on this old sewing machine case I'm fixing up. I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm making a good progress. ![]() Reconnected the wifi for the hot tub, the generator, and the security camera. The same storm that made the mess you see here roasted my wifi extender. Later I get to clean up the leaves and branches. ![]() And I managed to drop a sanding block on the new paint on my Speedster and put a nice scuff mark in it. AND IT'S NOT EVEN NOON YET!

I have a bathroom in my garage. The toilet in there is the original builder's grade toilet. To original 29 year old seat broke at the hinges. I replaced it with the new seat. I have a sign on the toilet tank that says the seat is to remain up at all times except if in use. It is MY bathroom! I upgraded the toilets and seats in the house long ago, but the garage bathroom did not get that upgrade. My next "big" project will be to replace the door handles from round knobs to a handle that I can easily open the door with just one pinky finger, and not have to use a paper towel to open the knob for when my hands are all greasy or oily.
