I replaced the rear shocks on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner yesterday morning. It was actually a very easy job. I'll replace the front struts next week when I receive them from UPS.

Servicing a small portable Honda generator.
I have no skin in the game, just an end user. In the past, when changing the oil in our small Honda generators, the oil ended up all in the bottom and around the foot pads of the gens. ![]() ![]() I get the idea, just seemed poor in execution. Made a huge mess…. Anyway, found a kit on Amazon that ended up a game changer. The kit includes a machined aluminum oil cap with small magnet to capture any metal in the oil. A filler/empty tube that is amazing, and a vented aluminum cap that allows you to daisy chain to a larger fuel can. Allows you to literally dump the oil (without any mess) into a waste container and filler funnel, all in one. You can empty and refill in a mater of a couple of mess free minutes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The design is stupid, there are three wires feeding the three different heating elements and this one return wire, but they are the same gauge. No shock this is the one that’s overheating.

Before our rain moved in yesterday morning, I relocated the rain diverter at our side door back to where I had it before the roofers moved it. They had reinstalled it over the HVAC unit. I angled it so the water would run off into the bush. Now I can take the pups outside without getting drenched, which is nice. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

Still working on the pool water heater gas line. I need a 12” pipe to replace the two pipe section and the cut off valve, before the flex line.
Also, started the flue pipe. I had (2) 4’ sections and needed (2) 5’ sections. I picked them up on the way home and will finish tomorrow. Hopefully…. ![]()
