Still warm out but it's the humidity that creates so much sweating!

Supposed to get some rain which helps.

Fall is on the way though for sure. You can feel it in the air!

I decided to go ahead and get a second mini-split for future use. It's the exact same unit I bought last time.

Neither one has been installed yet. One will be for the garage and maybe the other in my living room to assist with my existing central system.

Supposed to last another week or so.

Pretty great. I do think we will pay for it. Probably have a rough winter. I am ok with that.

The older I get the more winter stresses me. Not because I don't like winter but rather because of the challenges it presents.

An advantage of being retired, if there is a foot of snow on the ground I can just stay home. No stress in that. Our normal winters are pretty mild anyway.

Kind of odd weather for this area in the southwestern corner of the country. This summer saw a short stint in the 90s compared to years past. Last night it got down to 40 with a high today of low to mid 60s. Although it's supposed to get into the 80s next week, it's usually much warmer than that into late October. The past two years have been strange weather wise.

Today is the first day of Fall.

I just came in from my gardens - so serene and perfect weather conditions. This is the time of year we here in Florida wait for......

We're in good shape up here in NWNJ but down the shore they're getting lashed by Ophelia.

I'm not complaining. Our temps are <100º. 98º forecast for today and tomorrow, and then 92-94º for next week starting Mon.

The perfect week of Florida is here. The weather's glorious, and the snowbirds aren't here yet.

A couple of weeks after our temps were 98-102º, we had a front with rain come through this past week. Yesterday and today the high temps are mid 70s, and this morning and tomorrow, the lows are in the mid-low 50s.

Putting the winter tires on soon. There is already snow accumulated in the mountains.

Haven't used the HVAC for a couple of months now. During warm days, inside gets up to 77 with the house closed up. If the days are warm, we open the windows at night, cool the house down to 68, and we're good to go for the next day. I could take weather like this all the time.
