Guessing from the swept wing configuration, high tail plane and fences on the wings, I'm guessing Mig 15.

15 indeed
but the 17 has fences too the angle and straight bit of trailing wing near fuselage is telling for 17, which this one don't have

Wicked Cold War fighter. Very cool to see at air shows. Simple, fast and effective. The Saber F-86 was our answer to the MIG 15 during the Korea days
![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ![]() Fun fact, The actor “Michael Dorn” who played LT Warff(sp) on Star Trek The Next Gen, has a F-86 during filming. He stated once that the show allowed him to feed the F-86. He is a huge aviation nut too. Seems like a nice guy.

Ok fellers n fellerinas, handheld radio survey time!!!!
I did a quick search in my own thread just to make sure I hadn’t forgot that I already asked this question. For those of you that have purchased a small handheld aviation TX/RX radio, what have been your experiences? Brand? Size n style? Reliability? Comm only vs Nav/Com Customer support? And…….. hindsight being 20/20, would you purchase it again or throw it into the drink to swim with da fishes??? Let the opinions fly???? (Pun intended ) thanks in advance for your input.Cheers Bugs I posted this link in this thread 3 years ago, so I’m re-posting it just to get yur juices flowing. https://youtu.be/QCXQceEKNbM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think, YMMV of course, that a single seat sport aircraft would get old. I fly with my neighbor once a month or so in his J-3 Cub and it is more fun to have the option of flying with someone.
I almost pulled the trigger on a Vans Aircraft many years ago...flew at the factory since my Dad lived in Bend at the time. Terrific product. When I was stationed in Millington, Tn for 16 months, I was a "geobach" and helped a friend of mine build a Harmon Rocket during the week to pass the time. Very straight forward build. https://www.vansaircraft.com/rv-8/

I decided, after 4k plus hours, that I just wanted to find a buddy with a plane that had their stuff in one sack that would let me pay for gas. He lives a mile away

That’s awesome! Thanks for posting. My great uncle wrenched on P47’s in WWII. Pictures and stories of them surviving unbelievable battle damage and still able to get the pilot home. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
