Not much of an update overnight. He's holding steady right now. Not gaining, but not losing weight. Antibiotics, feeding, etc through PICC line. Hanging in there.

While I am not surprised at the support here, I am surprised at the amount of Micro-Preemie experience there is. It is very hopeful and reassuring to hear from others who have been there.

Thank you all!

Thanks for keeping us posted...

Your experience and comfort delivered in this has to be priceless to this little guy's parents. Keep delivering hugs and kind words.

Father of twin micro preemies born at 25 weeks. She was 650 grams and he was 750. 3 months in NICU and day by day. That was 12 years ago and they are happy healthy kids today. It’s amazing what can they do.

Gained a few grams so we're on the right track.

The family is starting to settle in to the new 'normal'

For those that are trying to imagine what a micro-preemie looks like here is a stock pic of a little guy that's about the same size as my nephew:

Praying.. My twins were born at 25 weeks and were a bit bigger, 900g and 750g. Came home from NICU on original due date. No lasting deficiencies. Now 36 yrs old and one with twins of his own.

Even though medical technology is amazing and the fact that our bodies are miracles I am still stunned that the little guy has a very good chance of making it.

Beautiful Fred!

Not a good day for my nephew. I don't know the details, but I know he's struggling today.

Hanging in there is the theme of the day. Holding at .544kg.

Many tests scheduled over the next couple of days.

Not much more to update right now...
