Clearly a four point stance. Scarlett and I have been working on her technique.
We'll keep you posted.

If sniper was here, he'd give a legitimate response....most likely referring to the fact that a three point stance is the natural finale to a properly executed monkey roll.

I think it's taking a portrait mode character and fitting them to landscape, the layout of the screen. They essentially fill up the screen in the landing stance vs. a bean pole in the middle of it with lots of other things to catch your eye.

The superhero movies are direct descendants of superhero comic books (duh) and those comic books were illustrated in artful ways to maximize movement and tension. The 3-point landings are simply extensions of that. Which is ironic. You aren't supposed to have to mimic movement in movies, that's why they are called movies.
Personally, I can't watch 'em for more than ten minutes. I am not able to muster any interest. |

Why do they do it? Because once, long ago, someone did it and someone else went "hey, that's kind cool!"
Now, there's kids throwing suoʇʇᴉɥs of money at superhero movies and some producer is saying (Christopher Walken's voice) - "I gotta have me some 3 point stance"

Because this is what happens if you don't do the 3 point stance superhero landing.
