Not really sure, but I think many of the crackers start from !@#$%^&*()_+1234567890_+abcdef...Then they add on another placement, and then another, etc.

Others probably use know phases or known information such as pet/children/spouse names and birth dates with common combos.

So "#it$me47" is probably much less secure than "iliketoeatGreenapplesandbannan@s"

I think a study found an extraordinary amount of "guest" and "password123" being used in high levels of government.

At The Water's Edge, 1910. Edward S. Curtis photographed Piegan tepees at the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in northwest Montana. The Reservation is bordered by Canada to the north and Glacier Park to the west. Browning, site of tribal headquarters, has an average of 196 days per year with temperatures below freezing.
In Montana, Blackfeet is used as both the singular and plural designation for tribal members. The Siksika of Canada describe themselves as Blackfoot. Text and digital restoration of photo by Gary Coffrin.

A Big Block will run approximately 6 miles at 3,000 RPM with no oil pressure. The more a guy knows - he.. uh, knows it! Wondering where the seat material went?

Traffic was a lot better in the 50s!

The rear of the Super Heavy Tank T28, also known as the Gun Motor Carriage T95.
It was one of the most visually extreme vehicles produced during the 1940s, with four tracks and a width almost a meter greater than a Tiger II. Weighing 95 tons, it was even heavier than the British Tortoise.
Its maximum armor thickness was an incredible 305 mm (12 inches).
Despite its weight, it was powered by the same 500 horsepower Ford V8 (GAF) as the M4A3 Sherman, resulting in a top speed of 8 mph.

Nothing more disappointing than looking up in under your vehicle after launching your boat and discovering that you have a bad seal on the diff.

Colorized version of this detailed look at Main Street - Deadwood, Dakota Territory in 1877. A banner for Adam Bros. Banner Grocery hangs across the road. The Delmonico Hotel and Restaurant can be seen on the left.

Doris found her Viking cruise to be a little too immersive...

Two boys sit inside Willamette, an iron meteorite weighing 14500 kg (15.6 short tons). It is the largest meteorite to be discovered in North America and the sixth largest in the world. The meteorite is on display at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, which acquired it in 1906. (Photo taken in 1911 in NYC)

A Sherman tank fitted with a T1E3 mine exploder.
These rollers were developed from a series of similar types, that used the weight of heavy metal discs to detonate mines. The T1E3 consisted of 10 steel rollers, each weighing 2100 kg (4600 lbs), that were driven by the tank's sprockets via chains.
Each side could articulate to follow the contours of the ground. In total, the system weighed more than 22,200 kgs (59,000 lbs). A few hundred were built, and the type was used successfully in the latter portions of the Second World War. However their enormous size and weight limited their practicality, and severely reduced the Sherman's mobility.

Photographer CJ Kale waited over 5 years for the conditions to do this shot after 3 days in the 110 degree water swimming with lava bombs and volcanic glass covered on the beach in Hawaii."
