I think Dolly has reached such an iconic status, she can pretty much do whatever the hell she wants.

I am sure she had to pay for the rights to sing it and record it. Why would anyone care if she sings it or not?

I do not care for her music, but I totally respect her for her character and the good charity work she has done.

I'm a big Dolly fan. On the other hand, I hate Freebird. It's nine minutes of monotony and a mediocre guitar solo.

Dolly did a ton of songs on her Rockstar album. Not my cup of tea, but I like her. I listen to "Jolene" once in a while.

Music doesn't have to be complex to be good. Freebird made all the young natives restless back in the 1970's.
Then copied the formula with "Green Grass & High Tides" By the Outlaws
And then a bunch of Allman Brother's stuff...

LAKE BAIKAL AND ITS "FLOATING ROCKS"
Nature can gift us stunning images. Russia, more precisely, Lake Baikal in Siberia.
Here you can see the rocks rising on the icy surface of the lake. No makeup, no magic, but real science!
The stones are first pushed - by strong winds - to the icy surface of the lake and then warmed by sunlight. The surface beneath the rocks melts slightly - only a small area of contact remains, keeping the rock suspended above the lake.
This phenomenon is called "Baikal Zen".

AI image.

Asperitas are ominous-looking clouds occurring mostly with Stratocumulus and Altocumulus. These ones have been photographed over Gorham, New Hampshire on April 23, 2023

The possible future. Another AI image

I get why the 250 GTO is THE 250, but I would much rather have a 250 GT SWB (probably about the same likelihood).

almost as cool are Death Valley's sailing stones

Funny - I was thinking the exact same thing. I've always thought the 250GT SWB was one of the best looking Ferraris.
