From the International Space Station, an impressive photograph was captured showcasing the vast Pacific Ocean and the majestic Atlantic, along with the territories of Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. On the horizon, the silhouette of the moon adds an ethereal touch, creating a unique composition that highlights the beauty and magnitude of our planet from space. An image that invites reflection on the immensity of our world.

Unfortunately, that's not real.

This is a real shot of the moon from ISS including a portion of the Earth

This incredible photo is of a whale shark taking 50 fish to clean its mouth. The fish clean the shark's gums and crevices. The shark certainly doesn't eat them. An example of mutual solidarity. B!L

I've ridden across on a ferry from Tarifa to Tangier.

And for many years I'd heard about "the rock of Gibraltar", but nothing prepared me for seeing it.

One of the biggest issues for Gibraltar is fresh water. They don't exactly have a lot of lakes, rivers, or springs. The side that faces the Med is covered in cement/plaster which is used to collect fog, dew, and rain. They also have some desalination facilities, but that's expensive. I think I even remember being told that some water is brought in by boat. Granted, that was a long time ago. Things may have changed since then.

911

When I raced my ‘69 911 back in the early 90s I could get the inside front wheel up. But only after i installed strut braces front and beefed up the front and rear roll bars. The chassis was too flexible otherwise.

"1970 24 Hours of Daytona - Jacky Ickx and Mario Andretti relaxing before the race. It marked the first appearance of the Porsche 917K that dominated for the next 2 seasons and broke the distance record for this race by 190 miles, while only the number 28 Ferrari finished in 3rd"
