No, that's what I'm talking about. I'm 4th generation. Spent a lot of time around my predominantly Asian family. They'll hunt you down a blow up your house.

Any person being attacked for their ethnicity should be classified a hate crime. Period. No different than when the “polar bear” attacks were happening in major cities, where older white men were being targeted. The outrage should be equal regardless of who is being attacked. Nothing would warm my heart more than watching one of these victims pull out their CCH and cap one of these POS cowards.

The beat police may have been schooled not to go spouting off to the media before there is an investigation. OTOH it's hard to believe that this wasn't racially motivated given that there was no robbery involved.

In my experience, the entire west coast, including San Fran has a pretty significant Asian population, probably primarily owing to the fact that it's the closest part of the continental US to Asia.
