5 years ago driving my '67 I had a guy follow me home and offer me 90K for my car. I said it wasn't for sale. He was driving a new Carrera 4S cabriolet. He then offered to trade. He said he bought it a couple of months ago for 120K and it has 3400 miles on it. I thought it over as he was checking mine out and realized it's technically a used car and even though the car might worth more than mine his is depreciating and mine is not. I declined and still have his number. I'd be kicking myself now if I had traded.

I like to work in the garage with the door open.
Stuff like this freaks me out. Even when people walk by and say "nice cars" it makes me nervous.

![]() The bottom line is that anyone following you down the road or showing up on your property uninvited asking about your car is a predator and is not your friend. They should be shown the way out, immediately. A young lady I know recently acquired a nice black 993 coupe, I had to give her "the talk" about being aware of anyone following her home, predators, etc. The car was a gift and she had no idea that this was even "a thing." Sad world we're in.

Best place for car maintenance is my hangar at the airport.
It's inside the perimeter fence, so no nosey looky-loo eyeballs. The only people that stop by are my pilot buddies that know I keep ice cream bars in the freezer. |
