I don't think this virus, or the rushed vaccine are from God, they are from business men who stand to profit from it.

If God chooses to take me, just know that I will be in a much better place, so no worries.

Nope. I'm vaccinated and so are all my friends and my family - except for my brother and his wife's political tribe. I'm even at the point of no longer worrying about them.

So, you just want to yap about it, not take concrete steps?

How can you allow vaccinated illegal imagrents to stream into our country and be bused to other states?

Start there...easy day.

The really ignorant part is the fact that Trump was largely responsible for facilitating the rapid development of these vaccines and he is vaccinated. Yet, most liberals think that if you supported Trump, you’re more likely to resist a vaccine because of that.

These dumbasses can’t think, even for a minute.

Well, of course you do. Still "leading" your guys down that path?
Hopefully, your employer and the people you're paid to protect are going to change that for you.

So, you don't think your ancestors came in as refugees?

How did that work out for the indigenous Indian population?

group911@aol.co 08-04-2021 05:30 AM

Um, you just called yourself out? "One of the main factors driving differences in COVID-19 vaccination rates across the country is partisanship."
Not like it's some sort of big mystery but it iust be in your world.

What are you doing about it? Besides yapping, of course.

group911@aol.co 08-04-2021 05:37 AM

Not well as we brought disease without vaccinations?

There is one category which you failed to mention, that of people that have done a little deeper dive into the vaccine and found it to be wanting.

I'm cool with them accepting the consequences of their decisions, also.
Everybody is dug in. Do what you feel like you have to do and good luck.

Technically, no, not what to do. But DeSantis in Florida has told schools, counties, municipalities, and businesses what they may NOT do, which amounts to the same thing.

Yeah same with the champion of smaller government and “you can’t tell us what to do” Abbott in Texass.

Fix the grid Greg.

Thank you for injecting your self righteous smugness, and concern for tbe people we protect......

Being that i pretty much run my dept, I listen to the consensus of tbe people under me, and take tbeir input very seroius. My "employer has stated that they have no intention of making it mandatory.

I think our founding fathers didn't bother with a Bill of Responsibilities when they created a Bill of Rights because they assumed US citizens would feel a sense of responsibility to each other if they were going to make our democracy work.
Looks like they overestimated Americans.
Sometime since the 1950s people decided exercise of their "rights" was all our country needed to survive. So few people feel any sense of responsibility to their fellow citizens these days. It's sad, and I think it's another rung on the ladder down to the demise if this great experiment in democracy.

bs...
why should citizens give a rats anymore as illegals rule...
as many of those elected have either abdicated..
or willfully ignore or choose to enforce our current laws..

It took 20 years to develop the "rushed" vaccine. mRNA was a well developed product by 2019. All they had to do was plug in the COVID 19 genome.

See that's the problem with you guys.

You'll cut off your nose to spite your face.

Let's put the entirety of the population at risk because there may be a portion who shouldn't benefit.

****ing brilliance.

You deserve a Nobel Prize for that.

Fixing real problems doesn't get your face on Fox, so not likely he's going to fix the grid. He'll keep doing relatively inconsequential things that keep people riled up and keep him on TV.
Illegals!! Voter Fraud!!! AHHHHHH!!!

If not, then seal the boarder, restrict travel to/from other countries and start lock downs again. Can't be too careful when the dig whistle blows.

Yes? BTW, what is COVID death rate for a 30 year-old with no co-morbidity factors?

Seahawk,

I'm not worried about the vaccine. I don't care what anyone else does. No judgment here.

How about restricting travel to hot areas in the USA, or instituting a national effort similar to small pox and polio? Not going to happen, is it ( the country is at 48%).

I don't think those who lost their lives to Covid and their families worry about the death rate statistics of age groups. I'm sure many thought it wouldn't happen to them

along with killing a bunch of folks for the good of other's...
I've seen the old camps..
know folks with that tattoo..
and other's who wore that uniform to put them there..

I love this country..
sad to see it die..

Covid is not small pox or polio...

But the differences could not be starker. Nearly 30,000 out of 100,000 of those that contracted smallpox died of smallpox. Less than 110 out of 100,000 of those who contracted Covid-19 died of Covid-19. Further, the smallpox vaccine had been developed over a hundred years before 1900 and its benefits and side effects were well known.
