They have "Pee Wee As Himself" on Max right now.

I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but the documentary is well done. His creativity always impressed me and they cover his rise (and stumbles) in the film. He did get a few raw deals. Definitely worth a watch.

I'll admit it's not as good as the books, by a long shot. But still very watchable. If you get a chance read the books...

Mobland on paramount looked good initially, time to go back..

I kinda like the flexibility these apps offer, I budget about $20 a month on stuff over and above youtube premium and internet service. (mostly see all I need on youtube these days)
I rotate $9.99 "services" every few months when they have nothing more to offer. MAX just went away when "The last of us" ended, quit Paramount ended when "lionness" and "oil man" ended.. Apple TV was rejoined only to see Season 2 of "severance" but staying on another few weeks to see the end of "your friends and neighbors" - AMC+ was joined and quit within a week after bingeing "dark winds" not much else there, Disney was terminated when "Andor Season 2" ended...

it's a constant rotation, admittedly it can become a little tiresome to keep track of (for my wife mostly, "what ? that expired?")

I really enjoyed The Ipcress File. The 6 episode season is set in 1963 West Berlin and England, based on the 1965 movie, which was what I was originally looking for. IMO, really well done with the 1963 setting- clothes, cars, etc. The two leads are excellent (new to me), as well as the rest of the cast. Feels like a classic '60s spy thriller. The lead girl "Jean," played by Lucy Boynton is a knockout.

Just watched "Air Force Elite Thunderbirds" on Netflix. Day-um.

For instance. One pilot ended up 1 inch shorter after an emergency ejection. That's better than dying but dang.

Watched the Amazon documentary, "Devil in the Ozarks" on the X-Sherrif that escaped from prison in Arkansas a couple weeks back and was captured this past weekend. The doc was from 2023 so it only covered the rape he perpetrated 20+ years ago to a teacher on school property, and the murder he was convicted of in 2017. I have to assume there will be a part 2 now that he escaped. Bad dude that took that LEO power trip waaay too far.

Watched the new Zepplin doc on NETFLIX last night. Pretty good, but it only went up to the release of second album when more could have been done IMO. It was prior to Bonham's death where it ended. Would have been better if they'd kept going and had less of the live music, I'd say a good 40 minutes of the 2 hours was live show video. Still worth a watch.
