Garage
Mine was easy to set up

But, it is quite heavy and large....... and shortly after getting it, I tried to move it by reaching over the middle of it (hard to explain) while my wife was at work and I pulled my back out and was literally stuck on the floor unable to stand for several hours in severe pain....I considered calling an ambulance (help! Ive fallen and I cant get up). I was on vacation and spent the entire vacation on my side with a heating pad almost 2 weeks

so, be careful

^^^ Ouch!
I prob should have said "One person can do it, but two will make it much easier" It's a clumsy object and no real good handles. Mine was going on a two foot high stand...a wall mount would take a min of two people.

I was trying to move mine off a stand to a spot across the room.

It could be very easy to break the legs off doing this without help so I tried to lift the entire TV off the ground so the legs wouldnt get twisted....by bending over and reaching over the middle so my hand would grab at the bottom of the TV. When I lifted up, POP. Lift with your legs as they say.....I didnt

The box my 75" came in is 4'x6'
Big and awkward but not that heavy. It pretty much filled the bed of my Tundra.

Always always always keep the boxes for electronics especially if they have a screen.

Neither FedEx or UPS will honor a damage claim if they are not either shipped in the original manufacturers packaging or packaged by them even if you pay for additional value based insurance.

Items are also easier to resell and move faster when you have the original packaging.

I was selling a bunch of dead Macbooks for parts on ebay that users took swimming or used as chew toys for their dogs.

Someone reached out to me and asked if I had the boxes.

I had three at the time.

Guy paid me $75.00 a piece for empty MacBook boxes.

All the house TVs are Sharp Aquos smart tvs. Love em! From 75 down to 32

My Garage tv is 40" Vizio smart.

Never an issue with any of them.

I’ve got a truck and a son. I’m ready.

I had a thirst something inch Sony trinitron tube tv that weighed over 200lbs, all in the glass. When it blew up in an electrical storm I took it out to the ranch and sighted in my .300mag using it as a target.

I recently had one of my customers that had one of those stuck up in their attic. Was impossible to get it down the pull down attic stairs. Apparently it was put up there by the previous owners somehow...

I had to take it apart, depressurize the tube and break it into pieces to get it down. What a freakin mess. You don't realize how thick the front glass is on those things.

Try lawn signs off season. They are free.

Circa 1980 my brother and I got our parents a Sony Trinitron TV for their 25th anniversary and put it in the beautiful walnut cabinet their old Sylvania came in. We watched Bonanza, Star Trek, and Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color on the Sylvania. We gutted the cabinet and got the best matching Sony we could fit in there, adding trim of about 1" all around the edges and waited for them to open the cabinet.

They went from poo-poo'ing the idea of a remote to spending 10 minutes to finding it to change the channel rather then to step up to the TV. That was funny. Sony's were the sh.t in the day and I had a few.
