Thank you. Dad says he feels fine but whenever he does anything, like even straightening out his blanket on his bed he says he gets winded and his oxygen levels decline, so until they stabilize he will more than likely have to stay in the hospital.
I have an Uncle that is going through the same thing, feels fine but O2 absorption is low. My Uncle has been in the hospital for at least a month now.

November was probably Delta. But "testing positive" can mean a lot of things.

You can test positive on a PCR test having been exposed yet not develop symptoms. You can also develop mild symptoms while your body quickly fights it off. This is true of any virus, not just Covid.

Hey buddy, feeling mediocre...still low energy and sleeping a lot. Stuffed-up nose at times but not constant. Just a low-grade deal that doesn't change quickly enough for me.

Thanks for asking!

They're all symptomatic, both times.

Hey Denis, hope you are battling this thing ok. I think the last time we talked was during the 2020 Lit Meet and this thing was just getting up a head of steam in the US. Time flies...... :-( Be well!

update for me it really was as mild as could be 8 days from pos test and symptoms were less than mild. I'm giving the vax + boost credit for that
All that being said I am sick to death of this ******* plague

My coworkers ex-husband just died from Covid. He had been in the hospital what seems a few months ago with Covid as well. Both his parents died from Covid in the past year or less.

Surprise….None of them had the shot.

Hey James, day 9 of having symptoms and day 8 of testing positive. It hasn't gotten worse or much better, pretty much the same. I'm ready to try any quack cures that people have...really over it.

It sucks being sick.

If they had it a few months ago and then later caught it again and died of it, it does not matter if they had the shot or not.

No, not how that works

If you had it, you have some level of immunity, almost certainly greater than if you were jabbed and boosted.

Some people are more prone to catching certain maladies. For example, I have not been sick since 1992, aside from food poisoning about 10 years ago

Yeah, me too. Did you sleep a lot, like 12-14 hours a day? Runny nose and no energy? Stomach/digestive issues? I've had all of the above, nothing life threatening but no fun.

It might be a little late now but:

Ivermectin, vitamin D, vitamin C, vitamin K, zinc.

Let me know if you want my suggestions as to dosages.

I'm only 6 days ahead of you.

I was like that the first week or so. I took at least 2 good naps (2+ hours each) during the day, plus sleeping like 10 hours overnight. This was while I was by myself in a hotel room. Coffee and tea helped, but not enough.

Definitely had a runny nose for almost 10 days. No stomach issues.

Today was the first day I did not feel like a midday nap. And today is almost no cough. It is exactly 14 days since I tested positive.

Every day in every way I'm getting better and better...

Hang in there Denis, this thing turns as quickly as it arrives. Like I texted you earlier the fatigue may linger but the other symptoms fall away pretty quickly once you start turning the corner.

Getting my booster tomorrow. As fatalistic as some are about the virus I’m the same outlook on getting another jab. Bring it on, I’ve had worse done to me. To each their own.
