The vitamin D from Sunlight can't hurt, though.

Well, since you have some time on your hands, here’s an idea for an invention you can work on. They make LEDs that emit UV light. Design something that will stuff a pair of those up your nostrils, because that’s where the virus starts out. There are people working on nasal sprays to kill the virus in your nose before it has a chance to replicate. Maybe you could do the same thing with some UV light.

You might be surprised how difficult it is to get any useful vitamin D from sunlight this time of the year, even in LA. My suggestion would be to take 10,000 international units of vitamin D as a supplement every day, along with some vitamin K.

LOL, open your mouth after you swallow some suntan lotion.

Remember you benefit through your skin (yep, vitamin D).

I've not had any version of the rona yet. Neither has my wife. Both sons have had it. My youngest, 21, was pretty damn sick. He's better now. My Aunt is currently in the icu with covid. She's not going to make it as she's currently fighting lung cancer and her immune system is next to zero. We're hoping for the best but the doctors don't seem too hopeful.

A vaccination preps your body for the infection so you can fight it off. The T-cells and memory cells are there to remind your body how to fight it off. And they prepare you for similar infections. Antibodies wane after an infection and they do after vaccination.

Yes, you can get sick after vaccination, but it is milder than it could have been. And I expect some people with "natural" immunity had colds from years ago that were "close enough" that the body was ready to respond. This is why yearly flu vaccines are important. Maybe this year's isn't perfect, but maybe one from the last 20-30 years was good enough to keep you from having a bad case of flu.

Denis, hope you are feeling better soon. My "sniffles" are pretty much done. I still have laryngitis 10 days later. And like you, my first test (with sniffles) was negative!
I hope everyone here reads this. Excellent description of what the jab is...

^^^ Exactly. The vaccine doesn't prevent anyone from the virus, it helps your body fight the virus.
I hope and pray for all of those who are affected by this virus that they all have a full and healthy recovery!!!
My Dad is currently in the hospital. He was diagnosed with "covid pneumonia". He is being treated with ivermectin and a Zpac cocktail. My Dad is 82 years old and in perfect health, not vaxxed, and is doing well. He has been in the hospital for 2 days so far and he told me they are only keeping him there for some treatment for the the next night, which is tonight. Anyway, my Dad is doing well, he sounds good, he says he just gets a bit winded when he moves around. I pray that he makes a complete and healthy recovery as well as others mentioned here in this thread and anyone suffering from this god damn virus!!! I am sick of this damn thing, no one to kick the **** out of because how do ya beat the **** out of a virus. Anyway....
My daughter babysits a little boy and his mother picks him up one day last week, no problem, calls us the next day, she tested positive for Covid!!! So, my wife and daughter freaked out at the time because they were in direct contact with the mom. We are all vaxxed and boosted here in my household. It has been several days and all is well. The mom, dad and child have been okay and we haven't experienced any symptoms of covid at all. So...all good, but still, it was frustrating for a few days of wait and see. I wish everyone well!!!

That's tough. We have a friend that's been battling pancreatic cancer for almost 4 years and got Omicron. It landed her in the hospital with cardiac complications, and its not looking good. She a single mom with a 15 yr old son, and an 80 y/o mom that also lives on her farm. Uggh.

We also didn't experience anything uncomfortable from the injections. Hang in there & wishing you the best!
My 3 jabs didn't really have any impact on me. I'm hoping that if I get it, I have a similar experience.

We have our bed bugs to take care of us.

Glad to hear that you're on the mend. Well wishes to the missus that she's improving.

I'm pretty sure your pup gets at least 300 channels on those ears.

You don't want to know, and you're probably even less likely to go through with it.

Prayers for your dad, Marty. I'm hoping he's well soon with no issues.
I hope that you and your family are not impacted by the little girl that your daughter watches.

My niece and her three kids had it in late November and now they just tested positive yesterday. I thought the antibodies protect someone longer than that?

That's strange. The epidemiologists over on PARF swear that natural immunity is the best kind.

The bottom line is that natural immunity may be only effective against the same strain that you've already had...like the flu.
