^^^^ Last page broken exhaust bolt pic.

This looks a bit of an inside joke- but tell you what, it's right up my "what am I fixin' today" alley.

I Will post pics this weekend and threadjack my own loctite thread into "how much exhaust blowby is okay?" thread.

(hence the question about BP Blaster)

My friend Flatty made a long journey to enjoy some of our roads. We replaced some transmission parts that required removing the exhaust. The allen head bolt was solid from rust and required drilling the head off so we could disassemble it. cant remember if I got it to unscrew or if I drilled and retapped it.

Garage
My main use for loctite is my snowmobile suspension.
Sucks when those bolts back out.

the "should" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Yeah, and one way the world has a way with ****ing with people is over use of thread glue.

I've see so much production go sideways because of Loctite. Most involve nearby plastic -perhaps metal inserts in plastic. Where the people on the floor think, I'll use copious amounts of loctite . . . which chemically attacks the plastic and the machines come back a few months later with fractured plastic. Other people say "stupid cheap plastic..." (yeah, that plastic wasn't even close to cheap, and now ruined. )
