It cooks up quick and is dang tasty! Similar to Albondigas soup. My Wife sometimes adds pasta but I prefer without. Top with some Pecorino Romano and it's all good!

He and I have a similar perspective. I have a strong aversion to the taste of horseradish. Ammonia smells more palatable.

Had the second bowl (left-over) from above today.
Just as good, or better, than the first one.

We finally got around to making this. I'm eating it right now. Very tasty!

The meatballs have also made some very tasty meatball subs.

[QUOTE=Zeke;12174871]I find some horse too mild and creamy. I look for the stuff that burns your nostrils. I can eat that with a spoon. I don't, but I can.

Just yesterday, I had a prime dip sandwich (that's what they called it) and the waitress asked if I wanted horse with it . I was expecting the strong stuff, so I asked for it on the side.
It was a mixture of (I think) sour cream, horse radish, and something else. I tried it and it was the best addition to prime rib I've ever had. The whole thing was $14...I'll def get that again.

I think "horse radish sauce" is often ground horse radish, sour cream, and mayo, and is a fairly common accompaniment for prime rib.

^^^ I agree, but sometimes around here, they serve it as straight horseradish for prime rib.

To me....it's too strong, nasal cavity clearing strong.
I don't care for it that way. This mix was perfect.

Spam mastubi, 15 min drive away when I /kids are really desperate (we actually really like 'em. Shhhhh). The other is Local moco with lots of grave which I can do. Easy to make and it goes down easy especially on a cold day. Of course there's our local Pho places, but 20-25 min. away. I know, I know, its not a snack.

Mashed avocado on sourdough toast. Unbelievable and no bypass surgery required.

drizzle a little balsamic vinegar over it! Probably a little salt and pepper too.
