Flu shot + Covid shot = HOLY MOTHER Of
I was waiting for a prescription to be filled and CVS had an opening for the shots. I've never had both at one time before. The worst reaction I've ever had was chills for a few hours after a flu shot a couple of years ago. Never had a reaction to the MRNA covid shots.
But this time - yeow!! It started with muscle weakness all over and progressed to chills. Then it got bad. I ended up on the can with a wastebasket between my knees, spewing fluids from both ends. Colonoscopy prep was never this bad. I'm going back to getting the shots a week apart.

Great. I get mine Saturday.
I always have a strong (awful) reaction. |

Sorry. My wife had a sore arm for a day after her covid shot a few weeks ago. I think it was the flu shot or the combination that made me so sick.

At a certain age (I think 60) they automatically give you the enhanced version of the flu shot.
Ask them not to....it makes a difference in the reaction. The Dr. told me this after I complained a couple years back of having 24 hrs of splitting headaches after the shot. I been getting the normal one for the last two times and no reaction to it.

Bummer. I guess I’ll do mine separately. I wonder what makes some people react so badly.

Historically, it has been verboten to give two shots like that at the same time.
Just sayin'

With some vaccines, like the flu shot and Covid, they will ask if you want them spread out by a week and it's a good idea to do that for the very reason stated in this thread. At this point, he has no idea which one got him so bad. The good news is that he's definitely vaccinated after that reaction. Feel better soon, WD.

COVID left arm, Flu in the right. Both a little sore next day, otherwise the micro-circuits are on pace, the Soros / Musk tracking is working and the mind control underway...

I always spaced any vaccinations out over multiple weeks.
Honestly, it probably makes no difference.

I had the flu shot, but covid, umm, I'll probably survive that so don't want any more vaccinations for that one.
Had the shingles one. Phew, my arm was sore for days. For a while I thought they may have accidently given me the euthanasia drug. |

I got both same arm same time, felt a bit tired for one night. I don’t tend to have reactions to these vaccines, so was willing to double-up.

I got Pfizer and the flu shot in my left arm. Covid shot was tender for a couple days. Two days after the shots, I have no energy for a couple days.

Only got the flu shot when I was forced to (Army). Got the first COVID shot because I was forced to (Fed Employee). Won't get another. I'm "young" and healthy...perhaps when I'm older and more susceptible, I'll change but for now, I allow my natural immunities to fight off whatever bugs blow my way. Hope your reaction from the vaccines passes quickly, Wd.

Will I be able to play the piano after getting the Covid and flu vaccines at the same time?
