It's a racing incident, but if someone gets a finger pointed at them, it should be Oscar. You can't go for that type of over-under move in a pack like T1 of the first lap and expect there to be space for that sort of thing, even if you're ahead of the next car (Hulk).
Zak Brown initially said it was Nico's fault . After seeing the replays he backed off that statement and said Alonso diving into the inside was the cause . I personally think he's protecting his driver , the replays I watched looked like Oscar's aggressive left turn under Lando was the cause . 3 + wide into the turn will never work . I think the pressure is getting to Oscar .

I've actually been cheering for Max to make a comeback. 5 in a row.

Max sure make teammates look like rookies fresh from F2.

Great battle for 2nd on the podium. Lots of sparring, but no rubbing is racing BS.

Piastri pooched it by changing line in a known crowded, no room situation. Should have fully expected people up the inside of turn one lap one, especially when you're showing commitment to the outside line.

Now that full send into Ocon by Stroll should have resulted in a rest of the weekend exclusion. Dude is just a total liability.

I don't know, maybe Stroll thought Ocon would go way off line. Because that's essentially what Russell did to Maximilion during the sprint in an attempt for the lead. Maybe Russell's move was not that egregious, but if Max hadn't gone WAY OFFF the line, the both would have been out of the race.

The reason RUS didn't hit VER is that is VER's signature move, so he knew to expect it. Too bad RUS didn't make it stick, it would have been a nice maneuver; all for a slippy inside tire.

Sprint turn 1 incident:

100% Oscar at fault.

I never was a fan of Redbull, or Max but I'm changing my tune of late.. Mekies is a nice guy and a refreshing change from Horner at the helm - no sarcasm, no publicity, and an incredible turnaround. I always respected Max's talents but recently, watching Chris Harris' video with him where he was showing his human side and talent driving other cars, and Max's interest in GT driving, it's hard not to acknowledge the guy is simply passionate about driving..everything with wheels, which is endearing. And he sure is making the end of the season fun. I would like nothing more than to see him beat the the dueling McLaren drivers on the last few laps of the last race and blow up "papaya insurance" ;-) It's fun to watch !

I like him because he looks like a Musketeer. With you on the rest, maybe its an underdog thing and that Mclaren ran away with the constructors long ago.

Did you guys hear Redbull is getting fined $50K because one of the mechanics went on the grid after the allowed time to peel off Lando's grid position duct tape, just to mess with him? (and possibly draw a penalty for being out of position) It's 100% legal in that it's not disallowed, they got busted for doing it too late.. Seriously F1 ? that's petty ! LOL

They use this because those fat cars make it hard to figure out your grid position.. Rules don't disallow using a mark, nor removing it ;-) Mechanics are posted to make sure nobody removes the tape, too funny.. apparently it's part of the game they all play with one another, RB got busted this time. Looks silly for Mekies, I hope he stops that crap.

He entered a restricted area during the parade lap, forbidden. Not to mention poor sportsmanship…
