Best one I ever saw a pic of? Atop a woman's pubic hair...a tattooed stick figure of a man "cutting grass" with a push type reel mower. It may blow a lust mood with laughter...but I thought it was funny as hell.

My niece said one of her friends wants to get "punk rock" across his knuckles. I said....Please ask him where he sees himself in 10 years and see if that would be the best "location" for his tattoo of choice.
![]() Jared I think it is cool your dad made a career change and is enjoying what he is doing using his talent. My sister Barb is an excellent artist, but she has never done it as her employment because she is afraid of burn out and wants to always have her art as something she will love doing. My brother Tom (who has passed away) was also very talented. He once painted a mural on one of the walls in the basement of the house we all grew-up in. It was really cool...but he did not ask first so mom & dad were not too happy about it.

Jared - I think I found my two '80s groups to tattoo on myself:
1) The Pixies 2) Roxy Music Then totally unrelated: Daffy Duck

Glad I didn't get a "destroyer" or "hatchet" type tattoo on my leg when I was racing bikes. Now that I'm 40 and fat I would look ridiculous.

I don't know about that David. Ask your wife...she might think it's sexy.

I meant no offence to Rock n Roll tats, just making an example of things you think are cool when your in your twenties may not be so cool when your in your forties. I knew a kid who every few months would go down to the tat parlor and arbitrarily pick something off the wall and have it slapped on. Oh and growing up in Los Angeles tats have a big gang association. the police actually carry or memorize pictures to help them identify various gang members.

I think that Steve O from Jackass has to have some of the dumbest tattoos ever. Heres an example of one:
![]() I do think that him tattooing "your name" on his ass is pretty clever though.

Much better than the guy betting that he had a cock below his knee to win beers in the bar and then showing a rooster tattoo on his shin

The weirdest, coolest tat Ive ever seen on a woman was A butterfly. I know, a butterfly ? But wait, it was where it was placed. She would spread her legs, the vagina was the body, the clitoris was the head, and the wings were built around the vagina.
( I hope that wasnt to much of a nasty description wayne)

Stanley, I knew a guy who had "your name" tattoed on his "unit". He would go to bars, and other functions, and bet people that he had their name tattoed on his nuit.

Some of my straight edge friends have big black X's tatted on the tops of their hands.
For those that dont know, Straight Edge is a offshoot of punk rock where they dont use drugs or alcohol. |

What is the significance of the "X"? Was consideration given to hairloss in later life? What happens when you want your natural hair to cover it over and nature refuses to come to the party? So they won't drink a beer down at the local on a Friday/Saturday night, but they are perfectly happy to waltz around with a big fat "X" marks the spot on the top of the noggin? I don't get it.
