In Memoriam ...
Saw it in JoeBob's thread, but here it is...
Mike Z and other long time posters who "we know" have passed, they should all be made so... If I wasn't Banned, I'd go ahead and change mine ![]() Can we make a list and have a mod peruse it and make it happen? Tho' ancient thread bot revivals are minimal now... yay! Whaddaya say? |

That sounds like a good idea.

It would be nice. Many of us have been around here a long, long time.
When I search the tech section, I get a smile seeing familiar names in old threads. .

I believe the first one I remember being aware of passing was Howard Agency?

That's a horrible suggestion ... no thread of Colonel Saunders should be a sticky ... I might be on too many folk's ignore list... someone else start a thread
![]() I can't c&p ... there already is a list with a bunch ... paste 'em and then add more! I do like the "In Memoriam" denotation on their IDs ... but that's just me. Thanks... |

I’m the same way. Not many posters over there these days that were posting in the early - mid 2000s. Lots of friends who were instrumental in our builds back in the day that have passed on or moved on.

I think of Joe Bob every time I post in his ultimate bike thread.

If you look up Dottore, mossguy and Dueller, there is a banner. Better check each name before mentioning. Now if they were added last night I'm not aware, but I did look at Dottore (the banner was there) when I posted on Joe Bob's thread 3 days ago. Now JB has a banner too.
We could be all caught up.

There is also Sherwood Lee, 911Pcar. He was very active here and on Early S, somewhat of a legend, IMHO, for the local So Cal old guys. Lost him back in 2021 (hard to believe).

I sure enjoyed Joe Bob’s post. He did a lot of things to his car that were similar to what I did on mine like a 3.6 conversion. So I PM him a few times with technical questions found he was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I never did like Lubey. Too bad he couldn’t be more like that Doc Holloway guy.
