Thanks for the war machine photos.

Bolter,,,hook skip for sand crabs.

EA6B Jammer, not just radios... hides attack flights and creates decoys. Soon to be replaced by the all mighty F 18.

What will be on carriers soon just F18 A, F, Anti sub, Jammers like the EA6B. A couple E2s and C2s and Helos as well.

How did the F 15 loose the wing, great photos again!

Had an F 14 rip off a stabalator years ago, ripped it off on a power line. Just a 100 feet off the ground having too much fun.

Uh oh... somebody posted airplanes, so it's my turn. Just this one of me several years back. (If I started posting my warbirds, I would fill this place up!!) Looks like the ol' jumpsuit is a little snug around the middle. :(

Cash,

Were you a Raven?

Regarding the F-15, believe that it was a mid-air collision. These are Israeli airplanes.

Goes to show that with enough thrust you can make anything fly.

zero armor.
the gunner just sits on a bar stool?
Maybe it just ensures the gunner's ejection, might be more survivable in a roll over.

There IS something known as evasive action. Its the old Porsche Vs Escalade thing. :)

There are many scouts who prefer a Quad to a Humvee for their work, if they get into an ambush, they can instantly get the heck out of there, where as the Humvee, although armored, is going to take some serious time to turn around, especialy in a wooded envrionment.

I don't know nearly as much about aircraft as many of you, but I have a favorite fighter jet and it's the F-16. Seems to me it's the 550 Spyder of the air. I know it's engine makes more thrust than the aircraft's weight, so its center of thrust is in front of its center of gravity. In other words, it could fly without its wings. I imagine that's what got the twin-engined thing back. If necessary, I suppose you can just "throttle steer" it.
