The Spirit of Missouri made a visit to Pasadena this morning. From the flight radar, there was a backup B-2 circling out over the mountains but I never saw him.

Our daughter Shelby took this picture of her friend, Sarah. It was shot with her phone, which I thought made getting the flying arrow in the picture extra cool!

We just got my 21 YO daughter a compound bow for Christmas, she'll be shooting out back of her own lot this year. Hopefully she can snap a picture as cool as your daughter did.

A Brown Anole sitting on a flower at one of my recent projects. This is a highly invasive non-native species which has essentially chased our beloved native Carolina (Green) Anoles up into the trees....

Yep, I remember seeing, catching and playing with the green ones all of the time when I was a kid in the 70s in FL. I rarely see them any more. In the last 20 years here in Houston, I've seen a few of the green ones, but the brown is much more common.

Nice hibiscus.
