Put a new mailbox up this morning.
Wouldn't normally post such a mundane event - but surprised myself by how nice it turned out...lol. Purchased from HD as a plain black plastic box. Wanted plastic because of the proximity to the ocean and rust issues. Spray painted it with Rust-oleum 2X: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon...._AC_SS350_.jpg Then added the numbers and a couple Hibiscus stickers I had in my stash. Digging into the corners of life:stuff that bothered me and could have been easily fixed such as a gross unusable rocking chair.
I did make the mistake of not letting the old primer fully dry for a few days or weeks. Air bubbles were created and the top coat kept peeling off. I wanted to get done but was actually swimming backwards.
