Richard.....that's the same bird obviously...I am in Wickenburg south of you. Not sure where he keeps his toys now....the airstrip community across the way from us had him move his C 119 as it tore up the dirt strip whenever he used it.

Hey Billy.......turns out it's a "Waterloo" Machinist Tool Room Series 8 drawer tool chest.

This is what they look like new.....

And here is mine. I got her dried out and will work on cleaning her up on Saturday All the drawers work! Thing is pretty heavy so will have to find a place for her in my already packed garage.

Waterloo Industries is still in operation and are based in Sedalia, Missouri.

Thanks for the additional pics, Reiver....love those Liberators! Some cool cars at the show as well. Looks like a fun event.

There's a vintage aircraft restoration business here (American Aero Services) and they also host events like that from time to time. Open house where you can see the projects they are working on plus they have a little museum. They always set up a donation table for the local animal shelter.

There's a name in some of the stuff, Rich and I will look into it. Suffice to say, it is fortunate I came along to try and maintain part of this man's "legacy". We have and have had machinists in our family so I always place value in tools and especially coming from a person's private "collection".

So It's a PB4Y (P4Y?) Privateer. The plane actually handled a lot better than the B-24 (2 small vertical tails) with the large single vertical tail.

Scroll down to plane 121 (on nose). That's the same plane in it's firefighting days. And a couple current pics.

Local tourist traffic went right off the road tonight. I drove up on it right after he went into the ditch, got my tractor and pulled him out of the woods. I should've gotten better pictures! Nobody got hurt, but note to self- next time, have his girlfriend record the rescue event while he was spinning and I was pulling. It was a righteous save! Oh well.

Looks like a rotted Zucchini, Bugs.

Got some new tiki torches....fuel canister is made of colored glass. It was a 6 piece set with 4 table lamps and 2 traditional torches.

Building a canopy over my back patio and am excited about finally developing a decent outdoor living area in back. These torches will be part of it....

I know. 75 years old and he can still drive like crazy and get out of the car with a big smile on his face! The rest of us can only dream.

Not perfect as it was a hand held iPhone with no flash in the dark trying to take a longish exposure. My car at a friends unit at M1 Concourse on Saturday night.

No pic... probably because you misspelled concours. Were there M1's there? Only about 500 built, I think.

No if didn't misspell it. M1 Concourse is a private race track with 'car Condo's' in Pontiac Michigan catering to all the car nuts in SE Michigan. The pic is my Boxster outside a friends 'garage' after dark.

random pics that YOU have taken.......

Found these by the local airport, about 1000' from our home. It would explain the reasons the animals have been on edge this past week.

And that is my size 11 for scale
