As a born and bred So Cal kid, seeing forest right down to the water’s edge is pretty darn cool.

(Yes - I’m more than a little bit jealous...)

My poor boxster may not be the coolest but it doesn't matter top down on our coastal runs. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1592240113.jpg

On the road to Hana.

Saw this yesterday in a store located in a small mountain town near here. Sales lady said it came with the store when the current owner recently bought the business. She also said they were trying to decide how to integrate it into their displays. I thought it was uber cool.

Thanks Baz. These are part of my final assignment for a recently completed History of Photography. My tribute to Edward Weston.

Geez Scott, that is an intense Blue!! I like it.

I actually shot those with a Canon 5D IV. It is in Edward Weston's Style, his still lifes. He shot his on a large format film, slow B&W film, with extremely small apertures and very long exposures.

These images were shot at ISO 50, with a 100 macro at f32. Manual focus using a linked iPad. All natural light as I am blessed with a kitchen nook that has perfect morning light. You should see these in PNG. They make great prints.

Read up on Weston's style and give it a go, it is not that hard and is just really neat.

I'll have to look him up. I kind of used a similar technique to shoot this picture.

ISO 64, 20 sec at f20. I know it's not the same but it's in the same vein.

My first SLR was a brand new SRT 101. Purchased at the May Company in South Coast Plaza in 1975. I like that shot!
