I was away.
Back now. Rode on a couple BC ferries for a total of 4 hours. BC ferries are um, different and way big. The walkways on the right side of this pic are well over 2 stories high

Saw some reasonably fresh wolf tracks on the beach, many times my wife and I were walking areas with no other human types.
On the way to the ocean beaches we stopped in Squamish BC to ride a newish (opened last year) gondola. 2800' in 10 minutes, easiest mountain climb ever! In addition to multiple trails and view points they had this thingy... It made my wife squeal a bit.

West coast Vancouver beaches go on and on, like most beaches they are best at low tide

Gorgeous bikes Byron!
The only time I've seen car/boat camping rolled into one... minimal places on Ross lake to dock an auto. And it's about 12 miles down a very cantankerous lake wind and wave wise. The emergency dingy was a good backup plan. Wanna make a kid happy? Let em drive the boat
