It's Yokohama Beach up above Waianae. The frogmen were military guys doing a little spearfishing. It was a little startling when they appeared, as we hadn't seen them enter the water.

Yokohama, one beach beyond Makua. Easy to distinguish the Waianae mountain range, as I spent much of my youth in that area.

I went to Mass there one Saturday maybe 15 years ago. We were in Maui for 8 nights, and our time in Hanna and at that church felt like the only authentically Hawaiian thing we did on that trip. A Maui couple who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary even invited us to their party after church - was very cool!
