I believe these were “logging” wheels. I assumed for moving felled trees, but you may be right about stump pulling.

Some great shots there David!!
I like the blend of detail and grandiose framing you do!

PSA moment-
Change your outboard impellers every couple years.
I bought a 2008 Yamaha 20HP motor about 5 years ago, the only thing I did not do after I got it was pop a new one in.
Here's what they do after waiting too long:

Here's what I found after it failed and I pulled it apart

After more digging through the passageways

When it failed the motor shut it's self down, glad it did- saved the motor from catastrophic damage.

Put in all new parts including the housing in 2015, only needed a new impeller in 2017 and 2019.
It's time for another again!

Feb 2018 - 30th Anniversary.

Neither of us had ever been to Yosemite in the Winter. It was dry and in the 70's.
So we didn't get what we wanted, but we really like what we got! It was like springtime, but without the crowds!

I about crapped my pants today. I was walking to stake a hub for a new house and this cat was where I needed to be.

I remembered the wise words of a Seminole Indian, when you see a snake, walk the other way, come back in 5 minutes and it will be gone.

I decided to stake other corners and do that one last. When I came back it was gone.

My phone zooms in pretty good, I was a good 10' away and that was as close as I was getting.

That is the biggest coral snake I have ever seen. I have seen my share. More unnerving, this was not in the swap or woods this was in a developed neighborhood and that snake looked well fed.
