not many Porsches where I live

But I spotted this nice little Targa S this morning. Not much of a picture, but in person the car was pretty nice,

Great pics, Skip...brings back a lot of memories.

My Nephew and a friend at a rental house before I got married - 1989.

^Nice silhouettes, albeit a bit ominous with the baseball bat^

SF meanderings
I was impressed with the Alcatraz tour and Fort Point under the South end of the Golden Gate bridge, windy and down right cold up on top of the walls!

There were wind surfers all over the place clear out to the main shipping channel under the GGB- braver than I by far!

I worked at a restaurant at Ghirardelli Square in college. Long gone.

I had a few friends that lived in Cow Hollow and always enjoyed the area.

Again, thanks for the memories😎

Sad day coming.

We brought in an old gelding ten years ago, former small time race horse, hunter jumper, schooling horse that was breaking down. The former owner makes her living with horses and it was either us or something less pleasant. He was "free".

He was 25 then.

My wife trail rode with him for a few years then he became a yard ornament...a great, wonderful yard ornament but he hasn't been ridden in five years. Some days we just let him out of his stall and he eats the grass around the farm. He never leaves.

We all love him but his time is drawing near. He is now 35 and has trouble keeping weight, stumbles a bit more than he should.

So, next week the vet comes and we'll figure out the inevitable.

So, Batman, my wife and my daughter yesterday. Cleaning up the big guy on the wash rack:

This was Memorial Day. I started the day on the golf coarse, but I forgot that there was a tournament going on and after 2.5 hours on the front nine I was done.

So I called up a buddy who just got a new to him boat hauled in from California, and we took it out for a test ride. The ride was good, and so was the whiskey.

Sorry for what you are facing SeaHawk, that's a long time to grow fond of a critter...
You will know when it's the right time.

Miss our two dogs, gone a few years now.
I will have another some day but we love our freedom and aren't ready for the commitment at this juncture

Boy Tree, I believe

Made me laugh.

He is actually a very accomplished rider. His mother and my sister are best friends.

Rear caliper rebuild time!
Last break in run I noticed the RR dragging a bit, hand based thermometer confirmed it was way warmer than the rest...

How long had it been Skip since you rebuilt it last?

I like the black better than the yellow for the caliper color as well.

15 years, changed the brake fluid every 3 years... pads are still in great shape. went to stainless steel flex lines then as well.
3rd bleeding this afternoon... Oy!

Had some stuff to get back to JW, he sent me home with a pressure bleeder set up I can do all by my self., its' way more fun to pester Rich though, he's always got good stories and warped sense of humor... thats my MO and it works for me!

horses are amazing creatures. I'm glad that you were able to give him another 10 years.
