was overtaking slow pokes, suddenly heard bit of noise
kept going for a minute.. didn't feel anything..
but decided to pull over as it was clearly from my car not one i'm overtaking that was noisy

30 secs later i'm pulled over and it looks like this.. right front

I only really felt something in the steering wheel when I was on the shoulder breaking and braked.

that wheelsensor tps didn't even trip, cause my right rear was also flattening
apparantly I had driven through a bag of nail some junkyard dropped on the road.

rear had 2 nails in it.

That sucks, but at least just some tires and not anything worse.

no biggie, company car, called volvo assistance and got 2 new tires slapped on, old ones in the back, new ones front axle, bill to the employer

good thing I didn't have one of my BringYourPorsche2Work days
also known as "Got there FIRST "-day

Shredding 2 michelins would have sucked indeed.. and on the Cayman, cannot combine 2 lefts on 1 axle to put 2 new ones on the front, cause not similar size..

Not a big deal to me.......but why don't we have a thread for ONLY Byron's photos?

That way there's no issue in the other threads and whomever is interested can just visit Byron's thread.

Disclaimer - I don't care either way. Just making a suggestion.

Here's that '70 Volvo 145s on BAT:

You can always put someone on your ignore list if you find their post annoying.

totally agree, and then the beauty is when they are posting in some thread where they will NOT be spamming it with self aggrandizing pictures, you just click on that specific post........

great and effective facility.

Phew, I was afraid it had been the Cayman. I was confused when you said the TPMS system didn't pop an alert. I feel like my Boxster absolutely would.

Mennonite Auction was last weekend.

I had a bunch of stuff for sale - made over 2k on stuff, one piece of gear in partcular that doesn't fit any tractor currently own.

The key is to sell, not to buy...I didn't even get out of the truck. They auction everything. Thousands of people attend.

^^^^Hmmm, I love other people's junk. But when the Mennonite's are done with something, you can bet its trash. The only thing they treat worse than their work animals, is their equipment.........

Monument Valley in November

Spent Monday night at Monument Valley this week. Last room on the top level. It is one of those natural wonders you have to see in person. DP

Very cool! We have them in our yard, but they are generally out there at night, so I mostly see prints or scat. I used to see them more often when we had a pup that needed to go out in the evening, but since he passed, I don't go out at night as much.
