Awesome pics Skip!! Love the coast shots and the gratuitous selfie.

Thank you guys for all that served. I did/tried until a car accident caused my release. Foreign material in the body (SS screws in my left ankle cost me my commission). But, as they say…”Make Lemonade” besides, I probably would not have met Mrs. Bugs.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. No data plate or name. Kinda thinking by the design, it “might” have been designed and built between 1930-1940,

Just a guess, but she is even beautiful in the state she is in. To me, that says something.

ive shared the tale of my bad neighbor, here is a benefit of the good in my hood folks. my laying hen keeping neighbors are always sharing the bounty.....

I do take my salad scraps over to their hen keeping daughter a couple times a week. they let them roam a couple hours and day and maggie, the keeper herds them back into the pen with a 6' piece of bamboo with a red bandana flag tied to the end... great eggs and the herding is a riot to watch.

That's certainly one of those "looks fast when it's standing still" kind of things, and the lines, especially when you can see the whole thing look amazingly elegant.

tarantula in the street out in front of the house the other day.

snake chilling over a window after a snack. We have barn swallows that nest on our porch, and I think they kept trying to land on the snake until he finally left.

Good stuff being posted!

Caught a Black crested Chickadee building a nest in my hanging Fuchsia basket early on, cleared it and folded up a chunk of wire fencing to deter her intentions.
Thought I had my point across, couple days later, nope! she saw that as a good thing she could still get to and she already moved herself right in. I have a drip system set up, so she's got freash water delivered twice daily for 15 minutes.
She agreed to help keep the plant fertilized, I agreed to let her be.

Last of the woodwork to repair the Cottonwood damage

Went over to Rich's house to help bleed brakes on his beautiful "66-
Porsche to the left of me, Porsche to the right oh myyyy.

It seems surreal to have a dry engine... Nice work Mr. John Walker!

I replaced the OEM and JB welded oil tank with a new one- my seal job of the oil level sender failed and dripped a bit. Resealed it set valves, torqued the heads and it's now dry too!!
