Nice cruise on Steamboat slough out to and up the Mighty Snohomish river right at high tide.

Several areas with 100 year old pilings to watch out for, bald eagles, Osprey, seals chasing the salmon running now.
You feel a long ways from civilization out in the marshy slough areas and up the main channel once you a a couple miles up, no much development except up the hill sides here and there.Got upriver to where the tide and river flows cancelled each other, I gotta go see more of the sloughs, this one has had all the derelicts removed, I think Union slough still has some

He stayed mad at for over a year, because i was out of town taking care of my mother's condo in St Augustine beach before a hurricane a few years ago, I was gone 2 weeks and had someone feeding my feral colony every day. He has gotten back to wanting me to pet him and getting back in my lap
