I'm not liking those numbers Byron, hypertension runs in my family, Mom had to be on meds for years.
Mine was borderline high for several years despite getting good workouts, keeping my weight in check and cutting stress levels dramatically, retirement helped that a bunch. Dr held off prescribing anything for a few years, I started meds about 5 years back. I bought a BP unit and monitored myself carefully checking am and pm readings. Typically morning BP reading are highest, mine sure were, Dr had me switch to taking the med in the evening, that really evened out my #s back to 115- 122/80. I was seeing 150's and 160's now and then.
