Maybe it's just pride in her "model"?

May I point out that the Lucy Lawless (Xena) cylon MAY NOT KNOW she is a cylon....she is just doing things that reporters do....but all to the benefit of her underlying cylon programming.
She does not need to maintain "cover" because she doesn't know she is undercover.

BTW: Check out the website:
http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/ Click on DOWNLOADS and then PODCAST for audio commentary by Ron Moore (exec producer of BSG). They have about half the first season as well as all the episodes through last Friday that you can download. Doesn't seem to add to much to the plot, but it is interesting to hear his point of view. -Z.

Last night's episode was pretty good. I especially liked the construction of the "muscle car" stealth fighter (all-engine and no handling). I think we will be seeing more of that in the 2nd half of the season....it is the colonial's secret weapon.
The new Sharon get's no respect...I suspect the writer's will keep it that way for a while. It creates great tension. They need to give Tigh a break though...he is ALWAYS the hard ass...ALWAYS proven wrong...and ALWAYS drinking. Nobody is consistently that bad.

How was Sharon able to communicate with the mainframe computer via her wrist/arm. Wouldn't she need some kind of light source or generator in order to communicate via fiber-optic?

When they figured out the front line fighters were being disabled via virus, they should of shelved a few and re-did their avionics/computers. Maybe the other battlestar will have a few retro fitted.

I wonder if the season finally will resolve whether or not the survivors on the other ship are Cylons?

Wierd. I just watched the original BSG where the Galatica encounters the other Batlestar (Pegasus), comanded by Cain. They were both good episodes for the old series. I hope it doesn't end the same way the original did, it kind of left you hanging.

I watched the original Battlestar Galactica as a kid, but don't really remember it. Can someone fill me in on kach22i's comment?

yeah, Kach what do you mean? I don't want to go into specifics of the episode in case it is the same.
